ENTRY RULES

1.       Date of Event: Saturday 20th October, 2007.

2.       Place of Event: Kos City, Kos Island, Greece.

3.       Length of Race: 10.000 m on public roads.

4.       Start: Asklipeion of Kos

5.       Finish: New Stadium Antagoras Kos

6.       Starting time: 15:00

7.       Duration of Race: About 1 ½  Hours

8.       Participants:  Anyone, Greek or Foreigner, over 18 years of age.

9.       Electronic time measurement with Champion Chip.

10.  Entry fee (will be set in 2007)

11.  Route description: The route will be marked with blue arrows along the road. A map is provided. Every 1.000m the will be a Race mark indicating the remaining distance. At the turning point ( ~7,5Km ) into the beach bicycle route the runners will have to run over the CHAMPION CHIP mat in order for their time to be acknowledged.  

12.  Medical coverage: The organizing committee will have doctors standing by. The last runner will be followed by an ambulance to offer any medical treatment if needed.

13.  Safety: Police men with cars and bikes will make sure the route is safe for the runners.

14.  Provisioning: There will be Water Bottles stations at the Start the 5.000m and at the finish.

16.  Transportation to the starting line: Busses will drive the runners to the Start on Saturday 20th October, 2007 at 13:30. (will be set in 2007)

17.  Personal items: The organizing committee will provided bags for the runners personal items at the start.

18.  Athletes oath: Five minutes before the start.

19.  Financial: Runners coming from Athens can use Blue Star Ferries to come to Kos and return to Athens by paying half fare. Money prizes will be awarded. (will be set in 2007)
